I stayed at this hotel and found it to be a great place overall. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a strong WiFi connection, perfect for work. However, they were a bit dated. The service was supportive but a little slow at times. The location was nice, clean, and well-kept, offering peace and quiet. The dining experience was average with buffet-style meals and friendly staff. Overall, a good stay with some minor drawbacks.
I stayed on the 5th floor, which was fine despite only one elevator working. The hotel has a charming mansion-like appearance, but there was a slight smell of mold around the room. The service was really friendly, both at the front desk and during the event I attended. The location was great for my activities in NYC, Rutgers, and the dog shows, but it lacked attractions besides the industrial park. The dining was adequate, although I had to approach servers on the first day to get seated. The facilities were satisfactory.
